UNIQUE PERSONALIZED BOOK. This privately printed book was personalized by having the recipient's name handset and printed within the text (so that every copy in this tiny and exceptionally rare edition would be unique). It is a text, which we ascribe to noted American printer William Edwin Rudge (who has signed the book following the last page of text), proposes that the recipient acquire the historic COAL TRADE JOURNAL, then presumably imperiled. Possibly the only book devoted to a tribute to this journal "which is the oldest and wisest of all". 10 pages. Tan decorated boards, paper cover label (spine chipped; boards darkened with wear; text pulling away). Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
