The history of the bookshop in Looe: in June 2019 I & my late partner Neil Stone reopened the only bookshop in Looe - The Old Hall Bookshop, in association with the owners of The Old Hall & The Old Hall Bookshop Sam and Jo Hawes (Bosco Books). The Old Hall Bookshop is known to been opened in 1974. The building originally was 19th century Chapel and Sunday School, on Shutta Road, in the historic Fishing town of Looe, in South East Cornwall. West Looe BOOKSHOP is open mostly Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays (12.00 to 16.30) but days and times may change.
