About this Item

80-page program signed by over 50 attendees including California Representative Clyde Doyle (who formerly owned this copy) and Edmund G. Brown, future Governor of California. Some of the other signatures are undoubtedly from other Democratic movers and shakers, as anyone familiar with Democratic politics of the time will be able to discern. Signatures cover the front cover. One interior page has some hand-writing on it, otherwise pages are clean. Front cover has detached from staploes and the spine has separated from the textblock but that could easily be glued back in place. Some soiling to the front and back covers. Upper right and lower right corners of covers and pages are bent and/or creased. There is a long vertical crease through front and back covers as though the program was folded in half at one time. (Note: Photos may show magnified dust, a flash reflection, or color washout.) Paypal always welcome. We pack all our books with care and ship in cardboard boxes.
