About this Item
Super octavo sized, heavy book "about art and human beings". Inscribed by Booth Tarkington, signed and dated to his first cousin, Fenton Booth, who was a judge and politician. Fenton Booth was first cousin on Tarkington's maternal side, which also boasted Fenton's uncle, Newton Booth, who was Governor of California, and for whom Booth Tarkington was named. Book has some wear to the edges and corners and is without a jacket. Pages and edges are toned. Front endpapers are straining at the joint. Book is in good condition and is significant for its association in the Tarkington family. Hardcover in brick-colored cloth with gilt titling on the spine. Seller Inventory # 987
