Henry Harisse's copy. Half bound in buckram over marbled boards with a leather spine label With 5 different publications bound in, mostly with their wrappers too. About 100 pages or so. A very important association copy in that there are at least 5 inscriptions by Wagner to Henry Harrisse, mostly in the wrappers before each publication. Two original envelopes from Wagner to Harrisse is also bound in and his business card is tipped onto the front pastedown, which is also signed by Henry Harrisse himself. The last article talks about Henry Vignaud and this was probably his copy afterwards, much of the material discusses exploration. A well known US Consul in Paris for 34 years who was a scholar and collector of historic explorations and discoveries. Vignaud built a fine 50,000 library of Americana and gained an international reputation as an historian for his work on Columbus. Seller Inventory # Tgneir3776
