Original cloth spine and plain papered boards, with printed paper title label affixed to the spine. xviii, 406 pages. plus one page adverts for other works by the author. 5.75 X 9 inches. Externally the book is rubbed all around, worn and marked, albeit all quite sound and solid. title label lettering partially indistinct. Inner hinges fairly solid, all complete and in good order and pages all quite clean throughout. Second hald of the book, pages unopened. Page edges browned. Previousu owner's bookplate on front pastedown. Inscribed in ink on the front free endpaper thus: "Dr. Price/With the aurthor's best compliments". Beneath is a pencil note: "PAS copy to Dr Price of Llantrisart, eccentric founder of cremation", Further note in pencil reads: "1st ed/ at Great-Windmill-St School/Presentation copy." A good sound copy with an interesting author's inscription.
