Item description from seller

Hardcover cloth (red) over boards with complete d/j. Oblong 8vo. Unpaginated (40 pp). Illustrated entirely with full colour full-page drawings. Signed by the author on the half-title. Title stamped in gilt on spine and front board. Text block is clean, unmarked, and square with a strong binding. Very light shelf wear along the foot. The dust jacket (illustrated paper) is slightly worn along the foot and slightly sunned on the spine. A "Caldecott Honor Book" sticker (denoting a book of distinction but not the overall winner) has been placed on the front. A wonderful book in fine condition with a very good dustjacket.
