Two volumes. 354+602pp. Large 8vo. Original leather backed boards in glassine wrappers. Colour frontispiece and black and white illustrations and maps, including a number of fold outs. A fine set. Signed by the author (in volume 1) This first edition is limited to 525 numbered copies. Only a few copies of Volume II seem to have been bound to match volume I, as here, the rest being bound in grey cloth.
