The hardcover issue is especially uncommon. 8'' x 9.75''. Original dark orange boards. Original price-clipped color pictorial dust jacket. Illustrated in black and white. 248 pages. Signed and dated by Domin and inscribed by King ("To Andre Fontaine / With Best Wishes / Joseph King. Oct 2.07") on title page, with inscribed card from Domin loosely laid in. Binding with a bit shaken with some bumping to corners and spine ends. Touch of rubbing to extremities. Bright and clean overall. Near fine in near fine dust jacket.

With their distinctive natural landscapes, local architectural precedents, and exploitation of innovative construction materials, the Florida houses, some eighty projects built between 1946 and 1961, brought modern architectural form into a gracious subtropical world of natural abundance developed to a high pitch of stylistic refinement.
