This book contains ten lithographs by the self-taught, visionary Belgian artist, Leon Spilliaert, five in color and five in outline, all featuring children and wintertime scenes, plus a single sheet folded to [4] pp. containing half-title, limitation page, title page and blank page; all items bright and clean for what is a wonderful example of this title. Original publisher's light brown, textured stiff paper portfolio, with titles stamped in brown and a drawing by Spilliaert printed in black to front cover, publisher's advertisement to inside of back cover, with light scattered spotting to the portfolio. The condition of the ten lithographs is FINE. The condition of the portfolio is NEAR FINE. Only one copy located on OCLC/WorldCat (The Cotsen copy held by Princeton University Library).
