1st. Edition,1862 Green cloth with gilt faded letters to the spine, 175 page book. A true story of life in a confederate prison camp by the man and men who lived it. Illustrated with an engraving at the fronts piece. This copy is inscribed by one of the prisoners Capt. France J. Kiffer of Bakers California Regiment and dated Oct.2/ 1862. An extremely Rare and scarce book on prison camps in the CSA during the Civil War. Condition : Fine, Tight binding aging very light edge rubbing. Size: 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall.
