Octavo, viii, [2], 295 pages. In Very Good condition with a Very Good minus dust jacket. In publisher's blue cloth with gilt lettering to spine, blind stamped on front board. Jacket is gray with white lettering, wrapped in an archival mylar sleeve. Light chipping and wrinkling along jacket edges and at head/tail of jacket spine. Rear cover of jacket shows moderate soiling. Price uncut: "$2.00". Boards show very mild shelf wear, with light rubbing along edges. Shallow crinkling to head/tail of spine. Text block has deckled edges, with some scuffing visible on the top edge. Lightly age toned throughout. Inscribed in black ink by Herbert Hoover on front flyleaf: "To Frank B King / With the good wishes of Herbert Hoover". Shelved in Case 1 1/2. 1404462. Shelved Dupont Bookstore.
