NF/F - Signed 1st edition, 1st printing. Stated First Edition on copyright page and no later printings noted. Alfred A. Knopf, 1996. 142 numbered pages followed by unnumbered pages. Signed directly to half-title page by Sapphire without inscription (signature only). Sapphire then continued her signature to incorporate a Heart sketch over the book's title PUSH at the top of the half-title page. This was signed in person in NYC during Sapphire's book tour for The Kid in 2011. $20.00 price intact on flap and DJ is protected in a mylar wrapper. Basis for the award winning film PRECIOUS. This book has become a classic of contemporary literature. Book is clean and tight. Corners are sharp although 1 corner is barely bumped. This is the only thing stopping this copy from being fine.
