About this Item

Unpaginated, being the second book of the first six of the Prospero Poets series. Laid in is a hand-written compliments slip by Trevor Weston. The book contains three poems and three wood-engravings. Printed letterpress at the Libanus Press in a limited edition of 499 copies of which 99 copies have been SIGNED by both the poet and the engraver on the colophon. This is copy #29 and is initialed by the publisher. Includes a wood engraving symbol for Prospero Press by Peter Forster on rfep. Fawn paper covered boards with black lettering and copy of one of the wood engravings by Simon Brett. Touch of shelf wear to lower board edges and a hint of toning to top page edge. The Bookshop at Beech Cottage trades exclusively via the internet. I acquire most of my stock through a network of suppliers based in southern England. My particular interests are illustrated Private Press and modern Poetry. I also have a collection of Prospectuses and similar ephemera. I am careful to select only the better quality items for the Bookshop that are within my speciality and pass on those that are outside my remit. I am a former librarian and read for pleasure - as many booksellers do! I take great care of my books while they are staying at Beech Cottage and would only ask my customers that they do likewise.
