A magnificent limited edition three piece presentation with the signed book, "Painting Apollo": 224 pages. 4to. Illustrated with 107 full color plates. First Edition, First Printing. In a slipcase. And the diptych giclee canvas', limited, numbered, one signed by Allan Bean and the other initialed. Number 124 of 225. Each canvas: 13" x 16". The two giclee canvas' are on stretch boards, not framed, showing Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin planting the flag and rendering honors. Two of the full size plates, 102 and 103, in the book show the same Distant Celebration. Included is the certificate of authenticity. Alan Bean was only one of twelve astronauts to ever walk on the moon. He later became an artist. This is a magnificent opportunity to own a limited edition collectible depicting a historical event signed by the late astronaut/artist who spent time on the moon. The three items are protected in plastic sleeves and are in new condition.
