No. 81 of just 375 copies. Signed by author Dard Hunter and publisher, Elmer Adler at the end of the text. One tiny chip out of a paper sample, otherwise pristine copy. Publisher's black quarter morocco with paper boards printed from 18th century Korean woodblocks. Black spine with gilt titling and red decorations. Includes 68 black and white illustrations (3 woodcuts and 65 photogravures) plus 51 paper specimens. It also includes an extensive bibliography and descriptions of each of the 51 paper samples. It will be bubble-wrapped and shipped in a sturdy box to ensure safe transit. This book is heavy and will require extra funds for shipment outside of the United States. Please inquire.
