First edition. Folio. 12" x 18". Illustrated by Ivan Majdrakoff. Pictorial clothbound boards with wrinkling to the top edge of the rear board near fine with fine broadside and prospectus. Hoskins' writing skill was praised by many of her contemporaries, including Wallace Stevens, John Crowe Ransom, Robert Lowell, and Malcolm Cowley, all of which she corresponded with regularly. She won the 1957 Brandeis University Creative Arts Award and received a Guggenheim Fellowship the following year. Lowell said about her, "How much better she is than so many poets very much more famous!" Copy number 2 of 150 numbered copies Signed by Hopkins. None listed in *OCLC*. Seller Inventory # 316040
