About the Author: General Robinson Risner was a fighter pilot in Korea and Vietnam. After his release he served as Vice Commander of the Fighter Weapons Center at Nellis Air Force Base. The Air Force Academy awards the Risner Trophy, given in his honor. to the outstanding fighter pilot of the United States Air Force. He currently resides in Texas with his wife Dorothy.
