SIGNED BY GEORGE TICE along the half-title. A very solid copy to boot of the 1972 1st edition, in its less common hardback. Tight and Near Fine (small, neat former owner bindstamp at the front free endpaper) in a crisp, price-clipped, VG+ to Near Fine dustjacket, with just a bot of light soiling along the panels. Square quarto, superb black-and-white photos throughout, reminiscent of the urban landscapes and portraits of a Walker Evans.
