This is the authoritative history -- incredibly scarce with author inscription -- of Peach Point Plantation, a place in Southeast Texas that has ties to Stephen F. Austin, James Perry, Emily Bryan, Rutherford B. Hayes, and even the Rough Riders of the Spanish American War. Blue hardcover in at least very good condition; sharp corners; very tidy with a square and tight binding; bold gold text on spine; interior is clean and crisp with the author inscription the only marking. Unread with clean text and illustrations. Jacket is about good, with some edgewear, rubbing, and a little closed tearing; price-clipped with generally clean flaps.
