First Edition. Original green cloth, small quarto, illustrated with plates by Denslow. This copy inscribed and signed by West at front endpaper to Jay Witmark, music publisher and founder of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers. The Pearl and The Pumpkin had a short run as a musical play. A Good copy, worn at spine ends and corners, inner hinges rather badly cracked with webbing showing, textually very good.
