Escott." Thomas Hay Sweet Escott (1844 - 1924) was an English journalist and editor. He was a lecturer at King's College London from 1865 to 1873, and editor of The Fortnightly Review from 1882 to 1886. During the last 35 years of his life Escott lived in semi-retirement in Brighton, in poor health.
