Thick quarto, bound in three-quarters Italian leather with gilt titles to the spine, gilt ruling to the front and rear panels, gilt decorations to the front panel, all edges gilt, illustrated with 250 rare and unseen photographs. One of 2,500 numbered copies, this is number 1,759. Boldly signed on the colophon page in black felt tip by Ringo Starr. In fine condition. Includes a catalogue of Starr's photography and is accompanied by the original cloth drawstring bag, promo flyer, and cardboard box from Genesis Publications. Ringo Starr (b. 1940), born Richard Starkey, is an English musician, singer, and actor best known as the drummer for The Beatles. Following their dissolution, he pursued a successful solo career and remained an active cultural figure, also engaging in film, photography, and philanthropy through initiatives such as the Lotus Foundation. In recognition of his contributions to music, Starr was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame both as a member of the Beatles and as a solo artist.
