Boards soiled, a few light smudges to margins. Binding tight and square, text clean, bright, and unmarked. 1898 Hard Cover. 160 pp. Black-and-white frontispiece by G.M. Stone. A novel set in northern New Mexico in the 1840s-50s, detailing a Kentucky couple's difficulties, including conflicts with Native Americans.
