About this Item

Signed by the Author Anne Hepple and inscribed by Mary A. Dickson, January 1940 on the half title page. Rare in first edition and more so signed. Hepple is a pseudonym, Her real name was Anne Hepple Dickson. Also inscribed by Mary Dickinson. Almost certainly a family member, maybe a Grand daughter. Heavy book may require extra postage unless posted within South Africa. Publication of 354 pages. There is gilt on the spine of the book. The boards are a little shelf rubbed and small chipped pieces missing on the bottom edge of the spine. There is a minor tear on the top edge of the title page. Internally the pages are clean and complete. The text is legible. The binding is excellent. GK. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
