Catálogo de la exposición presentada por el Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía. Esta muestra de Pipilotti Rist,la primera que sobre su obra se realiza en España, se compone de cinco videoinstalaciones, una selección de lo que se consideran sus trabajos más representativos de los realizados desde 1994. El catálogo se plantea como un libro de artista, en palabras de Rist, "formado por fotografías y stills de vídeo, poemas, dibujos en reproducción facsímil y otros indicios con sus aclaraciones; es decir, una enciclopedia de las tardes en desorden alfabético".

About the Author

Pipilotti Rist was born in Switzerland in 1962. She has been exhibiting her work since the mid-1980s, and has had solo exhibitions at many museums in North America, including the Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago; Site Santa Fe, New Mexico; Wasworth Atheneum, Hartford; and the Museum of Fine Arts, Montreal. Her work is represented in all important collections of contemporary art. One of her most recent projects that garnered international renown was a public video installation in New York City's Times Square during the Spring of 2000. She is represented in New York by Luhring Augustine Gallery.
