Black board cover with an embossed gilt cameo of the poet on the front, quarter-bound in red calfskin leather, with a black title plate stamped in gilt. Selected, edited and introduced by Aileen Ward, and illustrated by David Gentleman (and signed) with 12 full-color plates in ink and pastel-washes, and nearly 80 ink drawings. The book is wrapped in a glassine cover, with very slight scuffing to the cover boards, otherwise in near-new condition. The VG+-NF, ex-library slipcase is black boards, with a slight corner bump, some minor scuffing and very slight shelfwear, and slight discoloration and scratching to the gold foil title plate on the spine, but otherwise clean, very tight and solid.
