Royal 8vo. 87pp. Elaborate scrolled floral and armorial illustrated Latin dedication leaf, bound in and inscribed to Michaeli C. Fletcher as a graduation gift, signed by Eton Headmaster Cyrillus Alington, who also served as chaplain to King George V and as Dean of Durham. Coloured marbled endpapers. Printed on thick creamy paper with wide margins. Very good condition internally, clean tight sound square, well held in joints and hinges. Bound in gilt lettered and illustrated, blind ruled full velum leather, featuring Etons armorial device with Lion and fleursdelys embossed to bowed and gently foxed upper board, rubbed with light surface loss to foreedge of upper. Top edge gilt, rest attractively untrimmed.
