Signed First limited edition published by Chatto and Windus in 1928, limited to 256 copies, of which this is number 113. Green cloth or buckram covers with a smooth feel, spine tanned, some rubbing to the bottom edge of spine, gilt lettering to spine, gilt top edge, fore edge and bottom edge of pages untrimmed, with a number being uncut at the bottom. Text block sags a little, binding weave visible at the front and rear endpapers, but all remains secure. Pages a little age toned, but clean, and without inscriptions. Good condition. 601 Pages, 21.5x15.5cm.
