First Edition, First Printing. Signed and inscribed by Gerald R. Ford to fellow Congressman Don Clancy of Ohio with a long full page inscription. Inscribed: Ò12/10/65 - To Don Clancy in appreciation of your fine friendship and wonderful assistance in 1965. I am deeply grateful for your many kindnesses and look forward to working with you on behalf of the Republication cause in the months ahead. Ford.Ó The inscription references FordÕs 1965 rise to Minority Leader and Clancy aided him in a closely contested election. Clancy eventually served 8 terms in the US House of Representatives. Very good in a very good dust jacket. A book about the life of Lee Harvey Oswald, who according to the Warren Commission (of which then Congressman Gerald R. Ford was a member), was the lone assassin of Present John F. Kennedy, with much information about the two Mrs. Oswalds and many acquaintances of the Oswald family.
