About this Item

Octavo, x, [2], 233pp, [5]. Red hardcover, black cloth spine, title in gilt on spine. The first printing, with a full number line on the copyright page. Appears unread. In the publisher's fine dust jacket, retail price on front flap. Signed on the front free endpaper by Coach Knight, with authentication paperwork from "Premier Collectibles." Bobby Knight (1940-2023) was a former NCAA basketball coach, holding three national championships, eleven Big Ten Conference Championships, and an Olympic gold medal as the coach of the 1984 USA Men's Basketball Team. He retired with the most wins of any coach in NCAA Division I basketball history, but has since been surpassed by three coaches. He was the head coach of the Army Black Knights from 1965-1971, the Indiana Hoosiers from 1971-2000, and the Texas Tech Red Raiders from 2001-2008. He passed away at the age of 83 in 2023.
