Rare insight on broadcast kournalism of the McCarthy era. 147 pp. Clean Bright No tears or extraneous marks bright orange boards bold black titles on the spine sharp corners. unclipped jacket. A 1987 editorial in The Washington Post referred to Lewis as " . . one of the most unprincipled journalists ever to practice the trade." The voice of American broadcasting on the Radio in the 50's. Just about everyone tuned in to him his reports weekdays.The spokesman for conservative causes. Though he was a supporter of FDR, he opposed his New Deal plans. The man was Fulton Lewis Jr. His obituary in "The New York Times" August 22, 1966 headlined: "Fulton Lewis Jr. Is Dead at 63; Right-Wing Radio Commentator; Friend of McCarthy Attacked New Deal and Fair Deal Joined Matual (Mutual Broadcasting System) in '37.".
