8vo., 245pp. Beautiful Stated First Edition, bound in black cloth with titles in gold on spine and blind-stamped on front board. Square tight and clean throughout with little or no wear. Very attractive, unclipped dust jacket, ($10.00), has some rubbing to spine ends and top front tip. Still fresh and bright with no chipping, creases or tears. Inscribed, signed and dated by Walker Vidal on the front end-paper, "To Glen Breedy, Best wishes to a good brother in Alpha. Wilbert L. Walker 8/7/79". A publisher's promotional order form laid in. A gorgeous collectable copy of the author's first novel; a story about a black professional's struggle after attaining a high-level position in state government. Surprisingly uncommon, particularly in high-grade.
