Lawrence M. Randall came to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester MN in 1924 as an assistant in obstetrics and gynecology. He eventually became chairman of those sections at the Mayo Clinic and retired in 1960. He was the President of the American Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 1954.
