Swift (1856-1946), here with a presentation inscription from Swift to the front free end paper: "George Samuel Anesden / From the Author / June '92". Swift was a prolific social theorist who also ventured into Utopian speculative fiction, notably with his 1911 novel The Horroboos. About Very Good. Boards scuffed and edgeworn; a few pages dog-eared; binding a trifle shaken; contents clean. Hardcover octavo (6 x 9-1/4 inches). Brown cloth with decorative blindstamping to boards. 126pp. Inscribed by author.
