First edition, fourth printing 1964. Inscribed by LBJ to a 1964 Tenn Democrat convention delegate. "To E.C_____ with best wishes, Lyndon B. Johnson" in black ink - his favorite inscription color. Includes a typed letter on DNC stationary by the then DNC chairman John M. Bailey welcoming him to the Atlantic City convention in August 1964.Good plus interior. Has PO ink address stamp rear inside cover. Dustjacket intact but has a minor chip and an old price sticker on rear. Priced accordingly. LBJ was willing to do anything to become president ? Book is dedicated by author William S. White to Cia and Victoria White ???
