Bever inside cover; light staining along gutters front and back, due to endpaper paste; else Very Good with no foxing. Dust wrapper has foxing around edges; small tears at three corners; tears of 7/8" and 2 1/4" along spine, closed tear across spine. Despite flaws, dust wrapper is Good, protected by mylar jacket. Lewin was co-founder and editor of The Psychoanalytic Quarterly. Laid in is SIGNED TYPED LETTER FROM LEWIN to T. Bever (Sr.), dated February 1, 1962, on The American Psychoanalytic Association letterhead. The letter is mended with tape. Bever was a founder of the Washington Psychoanalytic Society's clinic, along with several other clinics providing low-cost mental health services.
