With certificate of L limitation signed by Air Marshall Sir Denis Crowley-Milling. 4 PORTRAITS BY ERIC KENNINGTON SIGNED BY THEIR SUBJECTS INC DOUGLAS BADER Squadron Leader Douglas Bader DSO, DFC who lost both his legs, continued flying and was awarded the DFC & DSO. Flight Lieutenant John Cunningham DFC nicknamed 'cat eyes' for his ability to down aircraft in the dark. Sergeant James Lacey DFM AND BAR, the RAF's leading Battle of Britain flying ace with 18 victories. Flight Lieutenant Roderick Learoyd VC who was awarded the V.C. for his part in a bombing raid in 1940. With typed signed note from Air Vice Marshall FC Hurrell (signed 'Freddie') thanking a company for donating a copy of this item to the Royal Air Force benevolent fund where it made £700 at a memorial auction conducted by Lord Tebbit in 1995.
