Limited signed edition and also inscribed by the author. This copy is number 35 of 200. Very good plus condition in very good unclipped dust jacket. Light wear to the boards and head and tail of the spine. Signed by the author on special limited edition signature page. Also inscribed with a warm message to the front fly leaf (To my young friend Robert Siaens. May you derive as much pleasure from your love of nature as I have done. The author. January 1961. P.A.Hey). Siaens bookplate to front past down. The dust jacket shows signs of wear with multiple creases and nicks and a 1cm tear to the tail of the spine of the jacket (see photo).
