About this Item

SIGNED by the author and published in 1841, this is a classic of English imperial philosophy. Signature on title page "From the author". The volume has green cloth binding with embossed front and back covers and title text on the spine with handwriting. Spine cover has split along right hand side. Inside pages are all clean and binding is tight. This is a remarkable copy of a book, with its signature and clean pages. Book has bookplate "Non eget arcu".
