64 pages of text. The pages are bound together, but this was removed (disbound) from a binding. Signed and inscribed by the author on the title page 'W. C. Goodloe Esq Frankfort From Mr. Wickliffe." The text has minor foxing. Inscribed to Hon. William Clinton Goodloe (1805-1870) who was decidely anti-slavery by Robert Wickliffe (1775-1859) who in the 1850's became one of Kentucky's largest slaveowners. Robert J. Breckinridge was anti-slavey and this is one of many attacks and replies between them. First edition. Size: Octavo (8vo).
