] Stated First Printing. Hardback, octavo, appx 5 3/4 x 8 1/4 inches, gilt and dark green on light gray covers, pp [viii], 368, [ii], Good only/no dj. Fairly decent copy, generally nice-looking & mostly clean inside and out. Front hinge split & book rolls forward a bit. Spine-ends rather light wear, but a little fraying. Interior: half-title and about 15 pages following very light moisture tide-mark in fore-edge margins + a few corner folds (one or two top cornerfolds and a couple of large page-sized diagonal folds) . Simply SIGNED "Frederick Manfred" by author on ffep. Laid-in: 1994 Manfred obituary clipped from Sioux City Journal. RWR5 Modern Firsts Contemporary Fiction Westerns Signed Iowa Minnesota Authors.
