First edition , first prnt. Inscribed by Spellman on the front free endpage. "To the Shaaf Family - with the deep and sincere sympathy of a friend - Father Spellman." Shelfwear to cloth spine ends; dustjacket with shelfwear at spine ends and corners, closed one inch tear with shallow wrinkle on the rear panel bottom edge. The book was bound upside down; the dustjacket is price-clipped as was common with this book offered by Spellman as a consolation to families of killed servicemen. Very Good condition in a Good dustjacket with an archival cover. Seller Inventory # 91211
