2006 No Place, 1st edn, 274pp, color and b&w photos, ltd to 750 numbered, leatherbound and slipcased copies. Alan Ritchie was Ruark's long-time secretary and saw some of RR most dramatic life episodes including his high-end life style, his drinking, partying and many wives and girlfriends. Although written in a more or less plain-Jane manner in thematic chapters we feel this book gives a better insight into RR then any of the other biographical books that have been written by him. The chapter by Harry Selby on his hunts and who Ruark was is worth the price of admission. Includes a signed photo by Harry Selby that seems to be part of the issue but there is no indaction of it in the book itself. Fine in fine slipcase, like new. Includes a signed photo by Harry Selby.
