First edition stated, first printing. Signed by John Updike on title page, in near fine condition without any writing or marks only a very tiny bookseller sticker and a very light fading at lower spine edge in a Very Good first issue dust jacket with original price of $4.00 intact and 16 lines of text on the front flap, with spine panel lightly faded and chipped at the ends, couple of tiny tear at edges and small dark stain on the top of back and front cover . Overall a nice collectable copy.
