A Near Fine copy of this relatively rare title, in a Fine Dust Jacket. A definitive account of the role and the experiences of radar technical officers and radar technicians and their contribution to the Allied victory. The "author draws on personal stories and contemporary records to show how the many different applications of radar were put to effective use both for defensive and offensive purposes in winning the air war." The only reason the book is not listed as Fine is that it has a personal inscription and signature on the title page from the author to the previous owner, whose very small and discreet bookplate is on the front paste down. Dust Jacket: Fine, illustrated, laminated. Cover: Fine, blue boards with gilt lettering to spine. Internally: Near Fine, inscription and bookplate as indicated above. 16 plates, 248pp. Seller Inventory # 001413
