The signed first edition of this Cadfael novel by Ellis Peters. First edition with original unclipped dustwrapper. Signed by the author with an inscription to the title page 'For Jackie, With Best Wishes, Ellis Peters.' 'The Raven in the Foregate' is a medieval detective-mystery novel. This is set in 1151, a year of great political tumult in the Anarchy. it is the twelfth of the Cadfael Chronicles. In a full cloth binding with original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, excellent. Minor shelfwear to the boards. Dustwrapper is very smart with small creases to the flyleaves. Small amount of bumping to the head and tail of spine. Inscription from the author addressed to 'Jackie' to the title page. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are age toned to the edges with the odd spot throughout. Fine. Seller Inventory # MOD6-A-19
