First edition. [vi] + 76pp; 5 appendices; 5 full-page plates. Original vellum with red leather label/gilt lettering to upper cover. Original, unbroken leather ribbon tie attached to covers. Vellum slightly discoloured and label slightly scuffed, otherwise near Fine condition. Presentation copy from the Printers' Guild President, Mr. James R Sutherland, to the Misses Christie [of Kildrummy?] with his handwritten inscription. [Details are given of the tercentenary dinner, celebrations and unveiling of the memorial tablet. The 5 contributions provided as appendices are : 'The Beginnings of Printing in Aberdeen' by G M Fraser ; 'Census of Raban's Books' compiled by P J Anderson ; Newspaper Articles concerning Raban ; Greetings ; Correspondence with the Aberdeen Town Council].
