Inscribed by Crawford on the ffep, laid in are four signed letters from Crawford addressed to Mrs. R.D. McKenzie of Williston, North Dakota to whom the book is inscribed. The letters are dated Jan 20-1927, Jan 25-1927, Feb 10-1927, and June 9-1928. Solidly bound though the front hinge is cracked (see photo). Boards and spine soiled and rubbed. Crawford's obituary is adhered to the ffep (and verso) and some yellowing on the title page has occurred. Several other pages show some yellowing from where clippings were once laid in.
