Attractively rebound hard cover with dark brown/maroon leather spine and corners and marbled boards, gilt titles on rather worn spine, and only minor wear of the boards. Inside the front cover is a book plate - Presented by A W Page to Bath Public Reference Library in 1923, overlying a probable ex-libris plate, but none of the usual lending library stamps. There is a hand written note from the author about 'this essay forming the last article in my pleasant little volume published by the respected author in 1840.' and 19 pages of text with a large number of additional clean blank pages at rear. This 1836 publication is in very good condition. Seller Inventory # 003218
